Tilapia with Garlic, Lemon, and Paprika

This quick and tasty tilapia recipe is a great weeknight option. Pop the fillets in the oven while you steam a bag of frozen veggies and you’ll have dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Tilapia with Garlic, Lemon, and Paprika
makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- 2 pounds tilapia fillets 
- 1 lemon, cut in half 
- 3 tablespoons melted butter 
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika 
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (or more to taste) 
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F and place oven rack in center position. 
- Place tilapia fillets in a single layer on a half sheet pan. 
- In a small bowl, combine the juice of half a lemon, melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper; brush over fillets. 
- Cut remaining half lemon into thin slices and add to pan with fillets. 
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-20 minutes depending on the thickness of your fillets (general rule: cook fish 10 minutes per inch of thickness).
